Child friendly attractions in scarborough
02/10/09
i recently went on a short trip to scarborough, and googled child friendly attractions in scarborough, i found playzone so decided we would take the kids there (3 year old, 2 year old and 11 month old) it was much bigger than we epected with LOTS to do to keep the kids entertained. the directions were easy to follow so we had no problem finding playzone (even though we dont know scarborough very well) we were greeted by very pleasent and helpful staff. prices to get in were.. £4.25 each for the children and £1.90 for the baby, and me and my friend got in free because we were with paying children. playzone was very clean and spotless. there were plenty of tables to sit at and a lovely menu to chose from, it was nice to just sit down with a mug of tea while the children amused themselves! prices of food and drink were very reasonable. there was an area for 'wall climbing' (more for older children) a large 'caged' off section for playing football. an enormous 'climbing frame' more of an Alladins cave of corridors, activities and slides. the baby play area we expected to be small was huge! with soft balls and shapes to play with (shame he slept through the time we were there!) we aimed to go once to playzone but we returned the next day and would have come the day after but we ran out of time! definately highly recommended, price to get in is a little high but who can put a price on an hour of happy children, no nagging and whinging and a nice relaxing natter to a friend!!
